the senate judiciary committee saying, in part, i agree that the fbi should take appropriate investigative steps to allow investigators to review these e- mails to determine whether they contain classified information as well as to assess their importance to our investigation. it seems the clinton campaign was caught by surprise at the news today. clinton ignored questions shouted by reporters in cedar rapids, iowa. tim kaine said he needed to commenting. gop nominee donald trump praised the fbi for looking deeper into the matter. and the news comes as clinton has been leading trump in the polls just 11 days out from election day. and, of course, the clinton campaign thought all of this was behind her when the fbi decided not to press charges back in july. >> we can tell you that it is unusual for the fbi to tell
6:01 pm
newly discovered evidence into a case that was otherwise closed. >> thank you. october baseball. it is all what we have been waiting for since the home opener was snowed out. the cubs looking to end a more than 100-year drought while the tribe is hoping to heat things up and not come home handed. we take you live to the ballpark tonight. a sold-out crowd is expected at wrigley field as the cubs host their first world series game in more than 70 years. all right. i guess we don't have that live pic yet, but we do have jim donovan her and tonight's game, it is going to be a big one. >> you want to talk about atmosphere, there may be too much atmosphere there for now
6:02 pm
feel it all the way back here. imagine, they have not had a world series game at historic wrigley field in now 71 years. tonight that comes to an end. so it is 1-1 between the indians and the cubs. we have had a day to think about it, a day to travel. we have all gathered once again and ready to go to see what take as 2-1 lead in this series. the cubs came back in game two and they broke through with that victory behind jake arrieta and some timely hitting over at progressive field. they win 5-1. so a lot of people advantage cubs because in any sport it is always said a series really begins when the road team wins. the road team won here. now our guys have to win there. >> they're really good. for us to beat them, we have to do some things. and i think we can. and i think it will be fun
6:03 pm
be easy. >> well, it is not going to be easy and it is going to be loud and it is going to be absolutely amazing. i mean, we saw dave. we saw when the cubs clinched the other night on saturday night when they won the pennant and punched their ticket to the world series that was amazing. this was going to be 100 times that, and you have a box seat as wrigley field, as we say. good evening to you. >> reporter: jim, hello from wrigley field. i have to tell you it is a zoo it is nuts. the energy around wrigley field before the game. outside before they started letting fans in. it was incredible. now there are some indians' fans sprinkled in here but nothing like we saw with cubs' fans in cleveland. this place is ready to go. the indians taking batting practice behind me right now. and one interesting note for you, the weather. it is beautiful here. it is about 64 degrees. the wind blowing out to left field that could be interesting because carlos santana is
6:04 pm
but let's talk about the importance of this game. the indians have lost home field advantage. they have to win one here, but that is okay. they have had that bunker mentality all the way through. holy cow! the indians are not just taking on another team. they're up against a starving community in this field that hasn't seen a moment like this in 71 years. >> and it is playing the cubs and it is awesome because we're making history. i'm enjoying the ride. >> this grou much, overcome too much to start questioning the way we have done things now. we're too loose and that has worked for us. and get the job deny and i think we're ready. >> yes. they beat big papi at fenway park, and now it seems like they're up against the world. >> we know we're playing the best team in the national league. and it is not going to be easy. obviously you'd like to win four in a row but it is probably pretty unrealistic and we know that is probably not
6:05 pm
cubs' fans figure they're finally going to do it. they're finally going to win the world series. that's the way it was in boston and toronto. when i was in both of those citiesno one governor the indian as shot. think about this. the indians have not lost four games in a row all season long. it would take that to prevent that at progressive field for a game six or senn. the indians have hosted three world series games, 1995, 1997 and this year since the cubs have last do of history coming into tonight, and it is going to be wild. live at wrigley field. jim, back to you. >> thank you, dave. and so we set the stage. and it is time for me to make you both feel a little better. nationally people are burying the indians after they lost the other night. nationally a lot of people think this is going to be over, that it is going to end on sunday night. i am not in that seat. ive indians win tonight, this series takes a dramatic swing
6:06 pm
kluber going tomorrow night. you could realistically all of a sudden be up 3-1 in the series. so game three tonight, the odd number games in best-of-seven or best-of-five series are critical. game three tonight is really critical, but for both teams, a lot of pressure on the cubs to win tonight and if the indian cans do it, boy, they have a big advantage. >> i feel much better. >> and please come back in sports and make us feel even back here at home, tribe fans will watch that historic game at wrigley field from our own turf. we're going the take a live look at progressive field where in less than two hours the fans will fill up the stadium for the watch party there. there is still time to get tickets to tonight's party and to sunday's party. tomorrow night's game viewing is completely sold out. >> and in chicago, some bars nearby are charging hundreds of
6:07 pm
and nbc's jay gray joins us live from chicago. those folks will be really disappointed when the tribe win like 20-0 tonight, right? >> reporter: yeah, that is a big bar tab to see your team lose, right? we're on the field here at wrigley field. we showed you earlier, but let's take a look again. the indians just out and just starting to take some b.p. and some fielding as well. i really have to tell you, if they were out here and getting ready to take the fiel are really upbeat and ready to get out here and get the work done, so that is good news for tribe fans. and they couldn't get a better night to play baseball. it is beautiful. it is 62, 63 degrees. and the wind as you talked about earlier, blowing out. it is supposed to imus come game time, 18 to 20 miles per hour. so that could change things cram include -- dramatically, especiallily for the batters here. outside, there could be three
6:08 pm
as you -- wrigleyville. the bars taking advantage of all of the hype here from $200 to $1,200, that is the going rate for getting inside and some of the establishments are saying you have to come four hours before the first pitch, so they want to make sure you're in there and spending more money as well. it is interesting to see how excited people are here, how great it is, and we have seen some indians fans out on the street. it should be a great night. [ and a balmy night in chicago as well. fantastic. jay gray, thank you. for years clevelanders have had to defend our city from undeserved nicknames like the mistake on the lake. but tonight the same web site that once called us one of the most miserable cities now calling it cleveland, america's hottest city. that web site is "forbes".com. and as we explain, it is for many reasons we already knew.
6:09 pm
of heart there. the article also points out there is a trifecta that we had in cleveland. that, of course, has within the rnc, the nba champ hships and now the world series. it also illustrates this. cleveland would have its momentum now even without those things. it was in 2009 the comedian hastily made us all laughing and crying. "the new york times" paid a visit that year. it was positive, and then last year it named cleveland one of the top places to see in the world. what changed? the people living here may tell you nothing really. the pluses were here all along. >> well, i think that we're inviting and we're warm to be around. the clevelanders are down to earth people. >> the cost of living is pretty good here, so that helps a lot.
6:10 pm
yourself leaving? >> i don't know. i don't think so. i think i'll stay here. >> reporter: in its article, tonight forbes quotes destination cleveland ceo david gilbert who credits forward thinking investments, community revitallation, tourism and the creation of a distinct brand, one that doesn't come from hollywood or old stereotypes, but rather clevelanders themselves, seeing the possible. and just look at what we've done. the flats of 2009 versus the flats of y. life on a downtown square in a city that has everyone talking. and teeming with life right now a live look now outside of progressive field where you can see fans waiting to go inside to that watch party on a friday night. and fans otherwise would not be here if we were not going -- doing as well as we are now. one of the things i liked about that article that ended by saying if we keep up with what we're doing, we might convenient have an olympics here.
6:11 pm
i like that. thank you. >> sure. what will the weather be like for chicago? the chiefs are keeping an eye on it. >> and the people want to know what is going on in chicago and a lot of people want to know what is happening in cleveland because they have plans to be out and about. so whether you're going to the watch party or at your favorite watering hole, it will be beautiful. partly cloudy skies through our world series game three with breezy conditions and temperatures in the 50s. meanwhile, chicago, it will be windy. you heard jay gray saying 18 to 20 miles per hour. it is going oh be very windy in the windy city. temperature also be in the 60s. all in all a beautiful night for baseball. both in cleveland and in chicago. and just wait until you see what happens this weekend. we're going to be warming up nicely. i have details on that coming

6:18 pm
don't worry about any rain chances. we will be in the low to mid 50s and holding. we're currently in the low to mid 50s. and even ashtabula and youngstown where temperatures are cooler, i think your temperature also be coming up in the next couple of hours. we're going to continue to have this nice southerly breeze as we go through the night. we're likely to see the winds picking up lit and continuing with very windy conditions as we go through the day tomorrow. high, thin clouds have been and there is more coming our way from the northwest. we're anticipating veiled sunshine for the day tomorrow, but late day cloud also thicken as a frontal system begins to drop south and whether eventually bring rain chances into the area on sunday. here is the thing. in the meantime we just continue to pump in the heat and temperatures tomorrow, friends, are likely to make it into the 70s as we head through the afternoon hours. so we'll go with mostly cloudy skies tonight. your hour-by-hour forecast,

and we take you to chicago. lock at the scene outside of wrigley field, absolutely packed as people are making their way in gates and into wrigley field for their first world series game since back in 1945. game three tonight, the indians taking on the chicago cubs. each with a win. and the key for the indians going into game three tonight, all eyes on josh tomlin. it is always that way for the pitcher. and we'll have our eyes on the mound. of course, remember, he hits. there is no d.l. in the national league park. for tomlin, all right, as you
6:24 pm
strikes. he throws strikes all the time. and if you see fly balls. don't be concerned. he is a fly ball pitcher. just as long as the fly ball doesn't go over the wall, everything will be okay. >> it is going to be a crazy atmosphere. and, you know, they have a great fan base and we know that. so do we. and it is just another game with a certain type of atmosphere that you don't get in the regular season. so it will be a lot of fun. >> and all right. tomlin was not good in august, but he since then and he is 2-0 so far. he beat the red sox, the blue jays. again, fly balls, don't worry, he is on if a ball is up in the airment on the other side, kyle hendrixs goes for them pretty much unbeatable so far as he goes in the post-season. now to the indians. it is going to be a tall task for them to try to win three the a row at wrigley field. and i think the same goes for chicago. that's why i think it is coming back to cleveland next week. someone is going to be ahead 3-
6:25 pm
>> we know we're playing the best team in the national league. it is not going to be easy. obviously you'd like to win four the a row but it is probably pretty unrealistic. we know it is probably not going to be the case in this series. it is a challenge. we have confidence in our group of guys and we'll be prepared, ready to go. >> remember, he is ready to go tonight as he is all set. he didn't work in game two. are the browns ready to go on sunday? they're a little stronger on sunday. joe hayden thinks he is going to mccounsell is definitely playing in the game. he'll start at quarterback. he'll give the browns more big play possibilities. he'll give them length. cody kesler is a dinker and a dunker, get the ball down the field in short sips. this guy takes brig gulps. >> so this is the next game. this is the one we're focused on. we want to get that feeling because hopefully we get that feeling and we know it will lead to more. >> and the cavaliers are back
